Entgegennahme der zuzustellenden Ware in der Niederlassung inklusive Prüfung der Begleitpapiere
Transport der Ware im Nahverkehr
Aufbau/Installation und betriebsbereite Übergabe von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten
Abbau/Rücktransport von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten
Einhaltung der Handlings- und Ladungssicherungsvorschriften
Rückführung der nicht zustellbaren Waren vom Kunden

As an installation driver (m/f/d) with a Class C driver's license at DP World High Tech in Ludwigsfelde, you will be responsible for the timely delivery and commissioning of equipment at our customers' sites.

About the Role

Your tasks will include:
• Receiving goods for delivery at the branch, including checking the accompanying documents
• Transporting goods in local traffic
• Setting up/installing and handing over electrical and electronic devices ready for use
• Dismantling/returning electrical and electronic devices
• Complying with handling and load securing regulations
• Returning undeliverable goods from customers

Your ideal qualifications:
• Class C driver's license is mandatory
• Written and spoken German skills
• You have a good technical understanding

About the Role

How you will contribute

Manage all daily customs and compliance activities within the region.
Supervise and lead the Customs department.
Maintain requirements regarding Authorized Economic Operator license and perform internal audits on the applicable customs processes.
Set-up and maintain a quality system for internal and external purposes.
Assist, advise and help the Manager, Customs & Trade Affairs and Business Units with all customs and related operational matters
Ensure and maintain that overall compliance with local legislation/regulation is conducted as a policy regarding our clients and within our internal organization.
Generate, monitor and regularly check the Monthly periodic declaration and other type of customs declarations submitted to the customs authority.
Identify cost savings opportunities and make recommendations to support them
Lead projects, advise, guides and implement them accordingly.

Your Key Qualifications

College degree required.
Experience in a supervisory role within a customs environment.
Knowledge of national and local Customs/Tax regulations/legislation (incl. valuation, classification and special trade programs).
Strong knowledge of customs procedures/regimes and know how to interpret them.

Proficient using MS Office applications and experience using computerized customs systems.

The Customs Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the processing/shipping of outbound goods and ensuring they comply with customs regulations by tracking and documenting shipments, communication with customer and broker agents, categorizing shipments by product coding system, and reviewing coordinating documentation for accuracy.

Draft and accurately check customs, trade, and transport documents for technical processing.
Prepare and handle transport declarations (T1/T2), declarations for import and export, and any other export documentation.
Control the day-to-day operational customs activities including but not limited to; risk determination, administrative process control, and internal recording to meet the required compliance.
Coordinate independent tariff technical classification aspects, tax, and non-tax legislation (VGEM) for both international and national customs matters.
Communicate with customs/tax authorities, transporters, and external customers about the handling of customs procedures and related issues.
Draft, apply, and supervise export documents via the appropriate organizations written and electronically, when assigned.
Keep up to date on changes and developments within customs and tax legislation while reporting to the Customs Supervisor regarding customs-technical and logistical problems as well as provide solutions to those problems.
Advise the internal operational departments and the customs management framework on customs specific information as requested.

Your Key Qualifications

University degree required.
Experience in drafting electronic transport declarations and declarations for importing and exporting.

Able to problem solve under stressful situations.

About the Role

How you will contribute

As a forklift driver you will be responsible for unloading/loading automotive parts from trucks and bulk containers. You will be lifting parts that come in bins, racks, and pallets and be responsible to put them on appropriate shelves in the warehouse.

Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
Working in a fast-paced environment you may use certain types of equipment such as stand up forklift, sit down fork lift, pallet jack or tugger to transport product to and from production lines and to load and unload trailers.
Work in a traditional warehousing type environment responsible for navigating narrow aisle ways and are expected to execute precise routes throughout the warehouse involving driving backward and making sharp turns.
Utilize scanners to accurately store and transport parts to storage areas and production according to standard work instructions.
Organizing facility or warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

Your Key Qualifications

Prior forklift certification preferred.
6 months or more experience driving forklift.
Ability to perform repetitive duties like getting on and off the fork lift many times within the designated parameters of standard hours.
Ability to work safely in a safe environment; without risk to health or safety, or the health and safety of others.
Ability to communicate and work in a cooperative manner with all employees.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
