Process Engineer

Are you passionate about designing, running, testing and upgrading engineering systems and processes? Within syncreon - a DP World Company and our growing Engineering team in Poland, we offer an exciting opportunity as a Process Engineer. This position will be on-site and based in Żary, Poland. You will be joining a dynamic and growing site where lots of engineering challenges await and where you will be working on continuous improvements, operational efficiencies and layout. How you will contribute:

  • Develop Continuous Improvement initiatives and tools to optimize existing production processes and actively support and participate in the implementation of new processes, including product and process engineering changes;
  • Analyze work systems, develop standards and/or improvements to existing systems and providing input for the development of functional layouts bu utilizing a variety of CI tools and methods (i.e. Line Balancing, PFEP, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA's, Control Plans, engineering studies, and resource requirement sheets);
  • Provide daily production support with regards to the implementation of daily plans (problem-solving and improvements), create work instructions and be the main point of contact for process improvement tasks and standard time inquiries;
  • Work closely with the other departments, including Operations, Account Management, Facilities and Project Management teams to develop and implement solutions to meet the requirements of the business.

Your Background & Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent;
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position within an production environment;
- Fluent in Polish language and professional proficiency (spoken and written) in English language are a must;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage high priority projects and daily tasks in parallel;
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications (advanced Excel skills are strongly preferred) and other ERP systems;
- Experience in working with production processes and the ability to read technical documentations and create work instructions;
- High level of commitment, strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset;
- Based and authorized to work in Poland (in the region of Zary) with the ability to work on-site fulltime.
