Systems Data Analyst (SAP)

DP World are currently recruiting for a Systems Data Analyst to work at our incredibly fast paced operation based on our Automotive customer site in Wolverhampton. In this role you will support with the development of data systems and reporting integral for the operations and engineering functions to provide a seamless service to our customer. You will be strong with IT and WMS (SAP) systems and be able to develop new ideas that would improve processes. 

About the role:

• Develop & Maintain System Validation Tools to facilitate operational engagement and rectification of process data source errors
• Build and maintain crystal reports, pfep extraction and change tools
• Support in daily meetings with operations to report system errors and advise solutions
• Create and maintain daily engineering flash reports
• Report to wider smart team daily on metrics including but not exclusively stores fill, klt return data, decant prioritisation, decant over 24 hrs, nonclosed out error from dashboards
• Expand data visualisation tool across site and departmentally
• Assist in the development of more dashboards and increase functionality. Specifically within operational, goods receiving and shipping areas.
• Collaborate with wider CI team to improve system processes efficiency
• Production of SMART metrics and reporting

Your Key Skills:

• Prior exposure to SAP WMS ideally gained from a large scale manufacturing or logistics/distribution environment
• Advanced excel skills including but not limited to: IF statements, VLOOKUPS, nested formula, graphical representation of statistical data and Pivot tables.
• Further IT skills would be desirable including SQL/SAP/Statistical analysis/BI Reporting exposure/ Dashboard production but is not essential
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain and present complex system information to non IT stakeholders
