Schedule

3rd shift:

  • Sundays: 9PM-6AM
  • Mondays: 9:30AM-6AM
  • Tuesdays: 9:30AM-6AM
  • Wednesdays: 9:30AM-6AM
  • Thursdays: 9:30PM-6AM

*Weekend work mandatory if scheduled by the customer*

About the Role

This position will cover all three shifts depending on call off’s/vacations. Must be able to change shift times during the week as well as work every weekend.

How you will contribute

  • Provide on-call or emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and/or equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service/preventative maintenance.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic; troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities as issues arise.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments or recommend subcontractors to address such problems.
  • Track and report out to various stakeholders on downtime notes and assembly robot details.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Your Key Qualifications

  • Position requires a high school diploma.  A college degree is preferred but not required, skills and experience will be considered.
  • Basic understanding of robots programming (use of teach pendant etc.)
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance tasks for robotic equipment.
  • Experience performing facility and equipment related maintenance in a large facility.  Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment.
  • Must be comfortable and willing to utilize a scissor lift (with training and certification).
