Quality Team Lead - Manufacturing

Are you the professional who thrives in the position acting as a linking pin between our employees and management? Are you the Quality Team Lead we are looking for, for our Waalwijk site? Are you the specialist in coordinating and controlling the order cycle and manage a team as well?

 

Our Manufacturing Support solution is provided in our Syncreon facility to provide Just-in-time, scheduled and sequenced delivery of individual parts or sub-assemblies to the point of fit. Coordinating material flow, inventory control, line side delivery, and empties removal in a timely manner is critical to the smooth running of the customer assembly process. For our location in Waalwijk we are looking for an: Quality Team Lead. 

 

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Managing Quality auditor team (2-6 auditors per shift). 
  • Continuously monitor process capability to identify potential risks as well as opportunities for improvement.
  • Observe discrepancies and report internally/externally when non-conformances occur.
  • Review and investigate process failures, drive the implementation of Corrective and Preventative actions.
  • Communicating and reporting to the customer when required.
  • Working with operations to reduce reject rate occurring. (e.g. on the production lines).
  • Ensure full set of relevant process documentation is available and revision controlled.
  • Give Quality input/support for new process (launch) & product introductions (NPI) - complete FMEA for new projects or business.
  • Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
  • Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model.
  • Monitor staff performance, (including time-keeping, quality, productivity) and costs within the team.
  • Responsible for accurate timecards of the staff.
  • Address training need for employees and give advise to the Manager.

Your requirements: 

  • Relevant education at least MBO+ (level 2).
  • 0-3 years Quality Management experience in a leading role. 
  • Good communication and relationship building skills in English (spoken, reading, writing).
  • Demonstrates openness and honesty. Explains reasoning behind own opinions; asks others for their opinions and feedback. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and work with changing priorities & deadlines. 
  • Process thinking and ability to translate improvements in actions. 
  • Proficiency on computers and Microsoft Office products, efficiently use Excel.
