Quality Supervisor

Are you the professional who thrives in the position acting as a linking pin between our employees and management? Are you the Quality Supervisor we are looking for, for our Waalwijk site? Are you the specialist in coordinating and controlling the order cycle and manage a team as well? 

About the Role

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Ensure full set of relevant process documentation is available and revision controlled.
  • Developing quality inspection procedures, methods and sampling plans based on performance metrics and/or customer requirements & specifications. 
  • Give Quality input/support for new process (launch) & product introductions (NPI) - complete FMEA for new projects or business.
  • Monitoring performance from available data and producing workable reports & executing process steps improvement based on data created.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the team.
  • Monitor daily KPI’s, Quality Metrics, Kronos timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
  • To provide back up and support to the Manager.
  • Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
  • Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model.
  • Monitor staff performance, (including time-keeping, quality, productivity) and costs within the team.
  • Responsible for accurate timecards of the staff.
  • Address training need for employees and give advise to the Manager.

Profile

  • Managing skills: listens and responds effectively to questions; resolves problems & queries adequately; respects all internal and external customers; acts as a role model and leads team in a professional manner;
  • Good communication and relationship building skills in English (spoken, reading, writing). Demonstrates openness and honesty. Explains reasoning behind own opinions; asks others for their opinions and feedback;
  • Ability to work under pressure and work with changing priorities & deadlines;
  • Process thinking and ability to translate improvements in actions;
  • 0-3 years Quality Management experience in a supervisory role;
  • Management capability with financial awareness;
  • Assignments are semi-routine in nature but need occasional deviation from the accepted practice;
  • Relevant education at least MBO+ level;
