QEHS Engineer

Syncreon is a specialized provider of integrated logistics services to global industries. Located in several countries across Europe, we work for several large Automotive and Technology customers providing value add services and logistics solutions to consumer as well as retail sales sectors. Our Technology EMEA headquarters is located in Tilburg, the Netherlands.  Along with Tilburg, we also have facilities in Waalwijk, Maasvlakte, Amsterdam and Venray.

About the Role


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate & drive corrective action programs at site level;
  • Direct involvement in handling ex- and internal complaints. This involves working across departments to establish root cause and corrective actions.
  • Develop quality inspection procedures, methods and sampling plans based on performance metrics and/or customer requirements & specifications;
  • Give Quality input/support for new processes (launch) & product introductions (NPI) and complete FMEA’s for new projects or business;
  • Analyze all customer feedback to identify trends and provide continuous improvements and direct communication lines with the customer;
  • Facilitate the setting of quality objectives and train, coach and mentor plant quality personnel in quality tools and processes;
  • Act on tasks related to our Integrated Management System that complies with ISO (9001, 14001, 13485 & OHSAS 18001).






  • A BsC or MsC degree in Engineering, or a related technical or scientific field (Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering). Knowledge of Logistics.
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience (e.g. Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Development Engineering) in complex international technically driven organizations;
  • We do expect you to have proven experience in Data and Root Cause Analysis and Process Capability and Statistical Control.
  • Expertise in relevant international standards (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 etc.) and preferably in-depth knowledge of Lean, Kaizen & 5S methodology
  • Good communication and relation building’s skills in English (verbally and written) and in Dutch.
