Operations Supervisor

 About the role

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Coordinate efficiently the operations of the department/shift, which concerns 15 to 25 employees from different skill sets, and ensure procedures are documented & followed.
• Plan and coordinate labor in accordance with ad-hoc activities & DL targets. Monitor daily KPIs, Quality Metrics, timecard exceptions & productivity. The administration has to be completed accurately and on time. 
• Ensure that CAPAs and 5C’s are acted upon in accordance with the guidelines. Is responsible for holding the conversations that are part of the HR cycle such as PMP, absenteeism interviews, sick leave interviews, and correction interviews, and provide backup and support to the Manager.
• Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model within the organization. Responsible for 5S within the department.
• Responsible for QEHS within the department & reporting accidents & near misses. Responsible for back-up planning for all key positions.
• Responsible for addressing opportunities for improvement; safety, efficiencies etc.

Key Qualifications

• 2-3 years of warehouse experience a supervisor role. Staff planning capability with financial awareness.
• Managing and coaching skills listens and responds effectively to questions; resolves problems & queries adequately; respects all internal and external customers; acts as a role model and leads team in a professional manner.
• Good stakeholder management skills and ability to handle complex issues and contribute to higher-level strategic planning.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills in English and Dutch. 
• Demonstrates openness and honesty. Explains reasoning behind own opinions; asks others for their opinions and feedback.
• Ability to work in a challenging environment and work with changing priorities & deadlines.
• The ability and knowledge to work with Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRF system.
