Inventory Manager

syncreon technology is a specialized provider of integrated logistics services to global industries. Located in several countries across Europe, we work for several large Technology customers providing value add services and logistics solutions to consumer as well as retail sales sectors.

Our Technology EMEA headquarters is located in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Along with Tilburg, we also have facilities in Waalwijk, Maasvlakte and Venray.


For our site in Waalwijk, we are looking for an Inventory Manager.

About the Role

How will you contribute:

As the manager of the team your responsibilities include to;

  • Coach, guide and empower the team members in order to unleash the full team's potential. You'll act as a catalyst and facilitator of the team's success which will help to achieve the overall syncreon goals and ambitions. 
  • Ensure all Inventory Control Processes across all business areas and processes are designed and executed in a way and frequency that it will ensure meeting internal and external (legal, client's, vendors) requirements and SLA's.
  • Build/strengthen a strong relationship with our client(s), vendors and your counter parts with the syncreon organization
  • Represents syncreon Waalwijk during internal and external audits.


You will be part of the site's management team, which means you’ll have the opportunity to deploy and further develop your managerial skills and subject matters expertise.



  • Good communication and relationship building skills in English (spoken, reading, writing), preferably the same in Dutch.
  • Ability to work under pressure and work with changing priorities & deadlines
  • Proper knowledge of MS Office applications -particularly Excel and warehouse management systems.
  • Analytical powers, good attention for detail and the patience and persistency to execute thorough investigations in a demanding and challenging environment.
  • Process thinking and ability to translate 'problems' in 'opportunities' and design solutions and translate improvements in actions and act as ambassador promoting these changes to internal and external parties (BPI, lean, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • College degree (HBO) or higher preferred
  • Strategic, conceptual and pragmatic capabilities

You’ll be working during office hours on work days, rarely, but if required you’ll be working at the weekend and outside office hours.
