First Maintenance Technician

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and assign all works, requested or otherwise, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, in consultation with maintenance, operations, and/or engineering, thereby leading to creation of an efficient work plan and execution is coordinated between all stakeholders.
• Maintain and update databases with all information required on a continuous basis Providing reports to management as requested or required.
• Coordinate and task maintenance technicians on a daily and weekly basis, to perform daily checks, PM requirements, maintenance requests or other works identified by internal and external sources.
• Ensure capabilities and resources are available for completion of routine, priority and emergency maintenance tasks as requested or identified.
• Create or maintain systems for to capture data from daily, weekly internal and external activities or checklists used to carry out and record these tasks.
• Create work processes to maintain inventories of tools, spares, general hardware stock and general items and document these activities.
• Liaise with and coordinate with contractors as required to ensure all outsourced maintenance is done as required to prevent any delays or capability issues to due equipment or facility issues.
• Ensure team members are trained and proficient with emergency action plans, i e power or equipment failures, fire, leaks/flooding, sprinkler issues.
• Ensure team members are using QEHS central to all aspects of maintenance on site and all relevant documentation is completed and maintained.

Key Qualifications

• Education Primary, Secondary, Tertiary MBO, HBO Higher education is desired.
• Trade Electrician, Welder, Mechanic, Plumber, or related experience in engineering
• Experience 5 7 years in relevant field of experience
• Computer MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email SAP, AutoCAD would be beneficial.
• Traits Proactive, determined, initiative, leader by example and team builder.
• Language Both English and Dutch (as a minimum written and verbal, to communicate both internally and externally (higher level communication will be required)
• This role is part of a standby rotation.
