Customer Inventory Manager

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager, based in Waalwijk, to plan, direct and coordinate the inventory of our operations at the facility. You ensure all Inventory Control Processes across all business areas and processes are designed and executed in a way and frequency that it will ensure meeting internal and external (legal, client's, vendors) requirements and SLA's. Along with Tilburg, we also have facilities in Waalwijk, Maasvlakte and Venray. 

 

 

 

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Coach, guide and empower the team members in order to unleash the team's full potential. You'll act as a catalyst and facilitator of the team's success which will help to achieve the overall syncreon goals and ambitions.
  • Ensure all Inventory Control Processes across all business areas and processes are designed and executed in a way and frequency that it will ensure meeting internal and external (legal, client's, vendors) requirements and SLA's..
  • Develop/execute monitoring tools (reports, audits) in order to monitor current performance, trends and to facilitate bench marks with competitors.
  • Build/strengthen a strong relationship with our client(s), vendors and your counter parts within the syncreon organization.
  • Represents syncreon Waalwijk during internal and external audits'.

 

Your key qualifications

 

  • Good communication and relationship building skills in English (spoken, reading, writing), preferably the same in Dutch.
  • Ability to work under pressure and work with changing priorities & deadlines.
  • Proper knowledge of MS Office applications -particularly Excel and warehouse management systems.
  • Analytical powers, good attention for detail and the patience and persistency to execute thorough investigations in a demanding and challenging environment.
  • Process thinking and ability to translate 'problems' in 'opportunities' and design solutions and translate improvements in actions and act as ambassador promoting these changes to internal and external parties (BPI, lean, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • College degree (HBO) or higher preferred.
  • Strategic, conceptual and pragmatic capabilities.

You’ll be working during office hours on work days, rarely, but if required you’ll be working at the weekend and outside office hours.
