Warehouse Manager

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Managers, based in Tilburg, to plan, direct and coordinate the operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the syncreon team!

About the Role

Warehouse Managers : One for SFP Department and one for Merge Department  

As Warehouse Manager in the SFP Fulfilment department and receiving department and our Merge department for our location Tilburg, you are responsible for leading a team who is processing all production orders within the targets of quality, costs and safety. You are responsible for all activities for our customer during the shifts. In this role, you report directly to the Sr. Operations Manager, who is part of the site MT. You will work in a (two) shift pattern.


How you will contribute

The SFP Fulfilment at syncreon is responsible for processing and shipping consumer products for the EMEA region. As Warehouse Manager for Tilburg this department you will be the main point of contact for each of the sub sections within SFP. In this role, you give direct support and guidance to the supervisors and you manage people indirectly. Other tasks include:


  • Develop, implement, manage and document all production processes;
  • Coach and train and instruct and monitor of your direct reports and warehouse employees in day-to-day business; (including disciplinary procedures, sickness management, vacation management, business continuity and succession planning – all in accordance with company policy and procedures);
  • Responsible for ensuring that all KPI’s & SLA’s are met with particular emphasis on productivity, quality and direct labour costs control within the shift/department;
  • Evaluate / monitor progress, incidents, processes and customer satisfaction;
  • Initiate and manage improvement projects / projects, including introduction of new products and manage special one off events;
  • Monitor and analyse KPI’s and costs;
  • Support Engineering and IT with the development of best in class warehouse processes;
  • Develop/execute monitoring tools (reports, audits) to monitor current performance, trends and to facilitate bench marks with competitors and between internal departments;
  • Liaise with the various site business owners to keep the focus on efficiency and stock accuracy;
  • Translate business requirements in systems like WMS enhancements;
  • Ensure that warehouse optimization is performed in a timely and qualitatively correct manner.


Your key qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics or relevant field. 3+ years’ experience in logistics or manufacturing,
  • Enthusiastic personality and high level of energy;
  • Accurate, innovative thinker, and focus on continuous improvement;
  • Able to cope with time pressure and dynamic surroundings;
  • Analytical powers and attention for detail;
  • Ability to understand processes and make improvements when necessary;
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and warehouse management systems;
  • Good communication and relationship building skills in English.


Additional information

  • Flexibility of working hours including shifts, weekends & public holidays as required.
  • Willingness to travel abroad (limited) and work abroad for a limited number of days.
