Test Engineer

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Test Engineer will be responsible for researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve production and customer issues. You will be in close contact with our customers and when required join meetings to help troubleshoot and answer any questions they may have. In our line of work every day is different and therefore a very exciting place to work in as you will work with the latest hardware that is out now. We have a great team of Test Engineers who will support each other to get the job done. The Test Engineer will report to the Manufacturing IT Manager.

About the Role

Tasks & responsibilities 

  • You will be working daily from 14.45 – 23.45 uur.
  • The Test Engineer will provide support of new products by means of doing research, process design and equipment set up. 
  • Come up with improvements that can benefit the Test Engineering team or operations. 
  • Being able to follow process required for troubleshooting. 
  • Provide quality feedback to customers to reduce impact times.  
  • Within this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering expertise for new products and services.  
  • You will become the first point of contact for Customer Project Management escalations. 
  • The Test Engineer provides training and directions to the Operations department. 


Personal profile

  • Fulltime available.
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in software engineering or another IT discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of similar work experience with troubleshooting within a Test/ Development/ Hardware environment. 
  • Familiar with deployment solutions (SCCM & DISM). 
  • Programming skills (Python, VBScript, PHP, Bash script) and database knowledge (SQL & MySQL).
  • Network understanding (VLAN, PXE, DHCP).
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Personal characteristics such as stress resistant, energetic, flexible, accurate, and a team player.
  • Being able to shift priority’s as they can change depending on customer requirements.
