Quality Engineer

Position in the organization:

The Quality Engineer reports directly to the Regional QEHS Manager who is located in Tilburg and Venray. 

 

Tasks:

•    Embed Quality into our warehouse; you are able to show its added value to your operational colleagues; 
•    You will perform in a dynamic environment that includes on average a young workforce;
•    The Quality Engineer has a high level of autonomy;
•    You will take part in a variety of projects focused on expansion of the operation, automation and robotization; 
•    You will be part of a team full of QEHS specialists; located both in the Netherlands as abroad;
•    The Quality Engineer supports the warehouse in Tilburg to achieve internal and external quality objectives;
•    In this role, you will be constantly looking for opportunity for improvements and gains support among your colleagues; 
•    You will be investigating client complaints and contributes to maintain ISO certifications.

Experience/Skills:

  • Educational background in Engineering/ Logistics;
  • 2+ years of work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar, preferably in a logistics environment;
  • Knowledge of Lean (Six Sigma), 5S methodology and relevant international standards (ISO 9001);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
