Project Manager EMEA

To support our team in the Netherlands, we are looking for a new committed employee in the position of Project Manager EMEA who is willing to travel extensively for exciting launch projects.

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Serving as primary liaison to internal/ external stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Developing good working relationships with the customer project leads; ensures that we establish excellent two-way communication communicating syncreon’s needs in order to be successful and risks where we need customer input. 
  • Working closely together (in-tandem) with the Site Owner elect for Greenfield locations or with the Site Owner of existing operations.
  • Monitoring project progress, deliverables, quality assurance, and customer service via use of syncreon Project Management Tools (Project Plan, Action Trackers, Exec Flash Reports etc.).  
  • Reporting status to customer and identify/ resolve risks that impact project completion.  
  • Managing project budgets, initiate action to identify and resolve problems, and ensure goals are met. Coordinate planning, development, testing, documentation, and installation of project to ensure timely deliverables, project success and quality. 
  • Locking/agreeing on the project scope with the assigned syncreon project team, so that this can be presented to the customer for input and approval. This would ensure that both syncreon and the customer have a common understanding of the scope of work undertaken.
  • Management and supervision of all project functions.
  • Advanced Quality Planning – focus on ensuring appropriate Quality Operating System documentation is completed in a timely manner whilst ensuring that the operating processes are robust; which should be bought off internally by Operations and other cross-functional team members
  • You are able to travel for the launch project up to 100% of a working week.


Your Key Qualifications

  • To be considered for this role you should have a degree (or equivalent) although experience may be considered in lieu of a degree;
  • You will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Logistics / Manufacturing environment ideally with PMO / Operational experience too;
  • You are familiair with the setup of all aspects of a new site / new Geography (IT software/IT Hardware/commercials/Legal/operations/Customs/Engineering) as well as senior customer & senior internal communication abilities as bar of a large Project or overall program of changes;
  • A background in Engineering / Six Sigma would be an advantage;
  • Experience in MS Projects is necessary, comfortable with and project schedulling;
  • You should have strong organisational/analytical skills and be able to translate ideas to action effectively;
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills whilst maintaining integrity are essential as you will be liaising with all levels of management and operations;
  • The ability to cope with time pressure in volume dynamic operations is required whilst continuing to be enthusiastic and have a high level of energy ensuring project deadlines are consistently achieved.
