Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager, based in Tilburg, to plan, direct and coordinate the operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. In addition, you will be the main point of contact for each of the sub sections within Manufacturing. In this role, you give direct leadership, support and guidance to the supervisors and you manage indirect their teams. It's an exciting time to join the syncreon team!

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Coach, train, instruct and monitor your direct reports and production employees in their day-to-day business; sickness management, vacation management, business continuity, training & succession planning – all in accordance with company policy and procedures);
  • Develop, implement, manage and document all production processes;
  • Responsible for ensuring that all KPI’s & SLA’s are met with particular emphasis on productivity, quality and direct labour costs control within the departments;
  • Evaluate / monitor progress processes and customer satisfaction;
  • Initiate and manage improvement projects including introduction of new products and manage special one off events;
  • Monitor and analyse KPI’s and costs;
  • Co-operate and coach engineering and IT with the development of best in class warehouse processes;
  • Develop/execute monitoring tools (reports, audits) to monitor current performance, trends and to facilitate bench marks with competitors and between internal departments;
  • Liaise with the various site business owners;
  • Translate business requirements in systems like shop floor control enhancements.




Your key qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical education relevant field.5+ years’ experience in manufacturing, assembly or production related environments
  • Analytic, calm and people management personality with an enthusiastic drive
  • Accurate, innovative thinker, and focus on continuous improvement;
  • Able to cope with time pressure and dynamic surroundings;
  • Analytical skills and attention for detail;
  • Proven experience within manufacturing areas, preferred experience with Lean Management and 5/6/7S methodology;
  • Ability to understand processes and make improvements when necessary;
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and shopfloor control systems;
  • Good communication and relationship building skills in English.


Additional Information

  • Flexibility of working hours including shifts, weekends & public holidays if required.
  • Willingness to travel abroad (limited < less than 5%) and work abroad for a limited number of days.
