Junior HR Business Partner

The Junior HR Business Partner will support the Senior HR Business Partner on site in Waalwijk and/or Tilburg. You will plan onboarding schemes, organize interviews, support in projects, direct and evaluate the HR processes and procedures and be a junior business partner for all stakeholders for some organizational and HR related matters, such as absenteeism.

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Answer routine inquiries involving the collection, verification, and/or dissemination of human resources information on various topics such as disciplines, records, wages, absences, hiring, and policies and procedures;
  • Participate in the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, posting jobs, interviewing candidates, conducting orientation and training, completing new hire paperwork and communications to the staff;
  • Assist with payroll and payroll related records.  Update and maintain employee information;
  • Maintain and gather information for and assists with the preparation of reports;
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, occupational illnesses and work refusals to determine causes and implement preventative measures to reduce or eliminate hazards;
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, or business or a field related to the position;
  • Ca. 0 to 1-year relevant work experience in an HR role; at least some internship experience;
  • Native level Dutch and a good command of the English language, both written and verbal;
  • Able to work both independently as in a team;
  • The ability to prioritize your work within a hectic environment, being able to multi-task and keep an overview of all HR related processes;
  • Pro-active, stress-resistant and being able to work with deadlines;
  • Accurate, proactive and no-nonsense attitude and excellent communication skills;
  • Being able to work with MS Office and knowledge of Afas is a plus.
