Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our growing Finance team! This position is hybrid based in our Tilburg or Rotterdam office and reports to the Manager Accounting and Financial Control.


Your key tasks and responsibilties include:
• Participate in the financial month close process; 

• Prepare account reconciliations and explanations and correction on any variances;
• Perform analytical review to ensure correctness of the numbers;
• Support in creating insight into OPEX and FTE cost for SG&A supporting functions;
• Support in continuous improvements (process/cooperation/system) to develop to world-class finance, keeping up with the growth of DP World;
• Contribute to the development of the Internal Control Framework;
• Contribute to the statutory reporting process for the legal entities.

What we ask of you
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, with basic knowledge on VAT and Tax on wages. 

• 5-8 years' relevant working experience in accounting & control, preferably within an international and complex environment;

• Upper intermediate/fluent language proficiency in both Dutch and English language are required;
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint);
• Experience in SAP, BPC and Qlik would be advantageous;
• Experience with IFRS.
