Business Controller (m/f/d)

About the Role:

• Monthly analytical review of the site's financial results and analysis of deviations of sales and costs from the previous period, the latest estimates, the budget, etc.
• Participation in monthly/annual financial statements (e.g. determination of provisions/accruals, checking bookings).
• Prepare reports and participate in regular reporting calls 
• Budget planning including volume development, personnel costs and other cost items.
• Support the implementation of a new operational system, especially the linkage to finance and performance management and KPI reporting.
• Weekly P&Ls for the management team
• Developing annual capital expenditure budget and forecast with management team and monthly tracking of possible deviations.
• Updating, maintaining and optimizing planning files.
• Review, approval, support and tracking of spend of all capital expenditures.
• Support and advice to the factory management in all commercial matters.
• Direct reporting to site management and management controlling.

Your Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or similar
• Experience in a finance role previously preferred
• Knowledge of principles and practices used in accounting (HGB)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – especially Excel
• Knowledge in SAP FI/CO
• Experience in setting up/improving management reporting and internal control processes and procedures
• Knowledge of English and German language
• Team orientation and Analytical skills
