Assistant General Manager

We have been managing supply chain synergies for global automotive and technology premier brands for more than 60 years. Your knowledge of supply chain and logistics combined with; your communication skills and analytical abilities will shape our business growth.  


In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team who works collaboratively to provide best logistics solution to one of our largest client . 

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Meet company objectives with respect to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment.
  • Direct, monitor, and accountable for the operating results of facility to ensure budget criteria, corporate policies and programs are achieved and customer requirements are met.
  • Responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to direct and indirect reports to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned Team Members.  
  • Direct the development and implementation of internal procedures and controls required to ensure customer needs are achieved within budgetary goals.
  • Establish standardized customer KPI and other performance metrics and ensure these metrics are communicated with the customer on an agreed upon schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Your Key Qualifications

  • Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.  A college degree is preferred.
  • Experience supervising in an automotive or logistics based industry.
  • Proficiency in working with operations manager, staff and functional departments.
  • Proficiency in working with customers and visitors.
  • Ability to effectively train, teach and coach salary and hourly team members.
