Operations Account Manager

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Deepen the relationships with customer and key contacts.
  • Keep an up to date pipeline of current and future opportunities.
  • Keep a line of sight on contractual terms and ensure renewals are progressing through the required stages to ensure business is renewed on time and at the right price
  • Develop and maintain Account Management Plans that address overall account health, account vision/goals/strategy, account & competitive SWOT analysis, relationship mapping (key customer contacts and those that need developed), financials, opportunities, and growth strategy
  • Have the  financial and contractual understanding to identify issues or areas of opportunity that impact the P&L and work with the different functional areas to address and resolve
  • Responsible to ensure change requests and new product launches are priced and implemented properly along with the different functional areas
  • Operate with a “must win” approach and implement an appropriate strategy to address our competitive position within North America.
  • Strive to develop the company brand and promote the extensive service offering of the company.
  • Take ownership for tenders and ensure all internal stakeholders in the company are aligned on any such tenders and that responses are professionally administered and in line with our internal financial rules.
  • Work closely with colleagues in a professional manner which reflects the seniority of the role.
  • Work cohesively with senior managers from different functional areas such as site Management, Engineers, Project Managers, Financial Accountants and all other applicable management teams.
  • Utilize strong communication skills and experience interacting with clients at senior executive level.
  • Utilize your proven history of engaging with Technology clients. You must be able to identify client requirements and apply the relevant syncreon solutions.
  • Have the ability to recognize and balance the account needs and syncreon’s organizational needs and have the ability to mediate in a detail oriented fashion that will allow for both parties to be satisfied while all goals are met
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the logistics issues and challenges experienced by companies in the automotive market.
  • Key contributor to MBRs and QBRs
  • Perform all duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Business Development.


Your Key Qualifications

  • University degree required.
  • Relevant work experience with a proven track record in a similar role: selling supply chain solutions to the Technology industry.
  • Specific knowledge and experience working in the North America Technology Market.
  • Able to cope with time pressure and dynamic surroundings.
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Enthusiastic personality and high level of energy
  • Willingness to travel at 30%
