Transportation Coordinator

Interested in joining a dynamic and growing 3 PL company as Customer Service Representative where lots of challenges await? Our team, based in Obernburg am Main, is looking for a motivated and experienced colleague with a strong customer focus.

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Transport management based on process & procedures
  • Control and management of outbound process in cooperation with warehouse supervisors
  • Determination and scheduling of required freight space based on deadlines and legal regulations in internal and external coordination
  • Continuously improvement of outbound processes
  • Route planning and optimization
  • Coordination of transport service provider including tracking and tracing of shipments
  • Preparing and analyzing statistics
  • Invoicing of services provided
  • Other duties as assigned.


Your Key Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as forward agent/transportation coordinator or a comparable apprenticeship
  • Practical experiences in dispatch area and logistics beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within syncreon and the contractors supply base.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office
  • Knowledge of working with a warehouse management system
  • Solid knowledge of shipment dangerous goods as well as Export and Customs
  • Material flow analysis and inventory management skills desirable. 
  • Good communication skills in German, both written and verbal
  • English skills beneficial
  • You like to work independently and you are characterized by goal-oriented, pro-active work with high self-entitlement.
  • You are a team player, with good communication skills both written and verbal, reliable and stress-resistant.
