IT Manager (m/f/d)

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Manages the local analyst staff of the Solutions team maintaining an understanding of unique customer requirements resulting in a cohesive operating unit.  Maintains practitioner/expert level knowledge in syncreon as pertains to business logic, software configuration and operational process deemed key to the daily plant operation.  Mentor team members through knowledge transfer of best practice solutions
  • Directs the business system analysis and functional requirements for new and existing applications.  Works closely with functional user groups, support staff, development, infrastructure resources and key business managers to ensure the Solutions team provides timely, cost-effective business solutions.  Participates extensively in analysis of customer needs, effort, duration and cost quotations, through presentation and deployment of ultimate solution. 
  • Encourages well-designed and well-planned functional solutions through application of best practice solutions currently in use.  Evaluates solutions for usability, applicability to other sites, adherence to syncreon best practices and AOS interface standards.  Manages the risk of software changes by establishing appropriate change migration controls and project-specific risk assessments.  Implements best practices in key functional process areas, such as: requirements gathering, analysis and specification.  Establishes standards for software requirement specifications, test cases, user interfaces and user documentation.
  • Provides supervision and leadership for staff and assists with individual and team development including career goals and education/training.  Establishes short to long-term work plans to meet business priorities.  Motivates team towards goals and objectives and builds an environment that fosters cooperation and cohesiveness with other areas of the organization.   Mentors staff in the use of project management tools.
  • Builds high quality, well-performing 24x7  support mechanism/team providing the internal customer with appropriate solutions and support of operational needs as related to IT specific requirements
  • Develops deep syncreon and customer-specific business knowledge within the team. Understands relevant business issues, key business processes, syncreon operating procedures and systems and develops the team on the same.
  • Determine software quality before operation deployment by ensuring test plans are comprehensive and inclusive, leading the completion of functional testing and coordinating user acceptance testing.  Participates in the planned changes meeting to plan and communicate impending software changes.

Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Project Management, or related field; or equivalent
  • Five (5) years of software applications experience and deployments.  Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience required including significant dealings with external customers.   Detailed understanding of automotive and logistics required with knowledge of sequencing and export packing highly desirable.  Experience working with and managing global or otherwise large and distributed analyst staff highly desirable.  Extensive experience with enterprise software applications and processes required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Slovak and English.  Ability to apply creativity and critical thinking to problem solving solutions for application teams.  Strong project management skills with proven capability to deliver well documented functional solutions within the constraints of time, cost, and functionality. 



For this role we offer a minimum salary of € 3200/month.
