Software Developer - Senior

Join our team and play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing critical Global Supply Chain applications that drive business success worldwide. In this position, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and ongoing support. You will collaborate with a talented team of professionals to deliver high-quality, innovative software solutions that meet business objectives, timelines, and budget requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Abide on the policies and regulations of the company and within the IT Technology group.
Taking ownership of the project tasks target and delivery dates to meet customer expectations.
Strictly adhere to each phase of the development lifecycle using internal tools in collaboration with all teams.
Owning and taking-up responsibilities.
Receptive to learning to strengthen skills and reduce mistakes.
Able to investigate issues and bring possible solutions.

About the Role

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or third level qualification in IT or equivalent experience
Knowledge of full development lifecycle, such as analysis, design, development, unit testing, code reviews and implementation

EXPERIENCE

- Exposure to querying relational databases.
- Expertise in delivering commercial development projects.
- Working experience with Web Services and/or REST services
- Working knowledge of REST API is a must
- Strong working knowledge of AngularJS, HTML5, and PHP frameworks
- Working knowledge of EDI, XML and JSON messaging
- Knowledge of Progress 4GL and/or Progress OpenEdge platform is an advantage
- Knowledge of Unix or Linux Operating System and commands is an advantage
- Working knowledge of Zebra printers / ZPL coding is a plus
