Team Lead

Minworth are recruiting for a Operations Team Lead.

 How you will contribute

• Develop and maintain Standard Work and Quality processes to ensure a 'Right First Time' product to the customer.

• Manage manpower in the area to ensure the operation runs smoothly.

• Eliminate safety incidents and external quality defects.

• Coach Team Members daily in order that a common goal is focused upon and that business objectives are met consistently.

• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and follow up accordingly.

• Maintain and monitor safe working practices and adhere to the safe working methods and countermeasures implemented.

• Drive a zero-tolerance mind-set for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer

• expectations are exceeded.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Assist in New Part changes, production trials, model change and pilot build in area of responsibility.

• Other duties as assigned, create control and update all documents.

• Management of all documentation in relation to work element sheets, work instructions, QPS and standard work confirmations.

• Collaborate with JLR teams to ensure adherence to all process`s. 

Key Qualifications/Skills Required

• Experience in leading a team
• Strong IT knowledge – Excel etc
• Ability and flexibility to work rotating or fixed as required and flexibility to change shifts as required
• Flexibility to work in different areas of the business as required
• Willingness to undergo additional training to meet developing and changing business needs
• Previous experience working within a fast paced automotive or logistics-based industry.
• Able to work with a diverse group of people and be a team player.

SAP knowledge and experience.
