Operations Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Leader, based in Lutterworth, to assist in the smooth running of our operational process on a daily basis at the facility. You will be responsible for effectively managing and supervising a team of operators ensuring the daily workload is achieved. It's an exciting time to join the syncreon team!



About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Ensure all quality control procedures are adhered to relating to processing and checking 
  • Completion of daily handover and provide appropriate information for the on-coming shift
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained 
  • Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met, monitored and maintained 
  • Provide help and assistance to other departments as and when required 
  • Promote a sound employee relations climate for all employees 
  • Communicate appropriately with internal customers at all times



Your key qualifications

  • Minimum GCSE Standard/IT related certification
  • Numerate & Literate
  • Experience supervising a team of 20+ staff in a Supply Chain/Warehouse/Logistics facility
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Team Player
  • Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred
  • Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.) 



Additional Information

Working a rotational shift pattern that includes the following shift times; 06:00 – 14:30, 10:00 – 18:30 and 16:00 – 00:30, Monday to Sunday.
