Oracle Fusion HCM SME

syncreon part of DP World are currently recruiting for a Oracle Fusion HCM SME providing best-practice on HR business processes and Oracle HCM cloud functional expertise on Core HR, Oracle Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Goals and Performance Management, HR Help Desk, Digital Assistant, Sandbox customization and approval configurations. This role can be based across Europe - UK (London), The Netherlands (Rotterdam) or Germany (Dusseldorf/Duisburg).

 

About the role:

  • Act as domain expert, providing best-practice on HR business processes and Oracle HCM cloud functional expertise on Core HR, Oracle Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Goals and Performance Management, HR Help Desk, Digital Assistant, Sandbox customization and approval configurations.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into optimal system configuration of Oracle module. Assess scope, undertake fit-gap analysis and impact analysis, and size and design solutions.
  • Share innovative Global standard methodology to drive innovation and continual improvement.
  • Help investigate and resolve operational, system functional and technical errors and opportunities. Troubleshoot systems and data and generate effective solutions.
  • Responsible for driving the agile execution of Oracle HCM configuration, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Become the go-to domain expert for HCM configuration. Collaborate with Oracle on enablement of new features, problem resolution and Quarterly upgrade enhancements and post launch configuration.
  • Collaborate with HR teams, Cluster leads, Technology and other partners supporting roadmaps and looking for process improvements with Oracle HCM products.
  • Deliver respective module through effective financial and budgetary management to work within tolerances and achieve value for money
  • Engage and work with Head office program manager and Implementation partner/Team multiple Business Unit heads project teams and suppliers to ensure detailed (and effective) project plans are in place and agreed.
  • Work with Finance, SCM and IT Management/Leadership across the region ensuring appropriate maintenance and visibility of the project portfolio in the region
  • Participate in project reviews with the business to ensure effective and efficient IT services deployment
  • Validate and sign off completion of project deliverables and milestones, initiating milestone payments as appropriate.
  • Business case preparation and support where required for functional leads.
  • Drive appropriate continuous business improvement processes throughout the project duration ensuring lessons are learnt and adaptations put in place for maximum business benefit.
  • To be always an ambassador for the company internally and externally;
  • Comply with Fatal Risk Standards, Health & Safety Policy, and safe working practices, ensure responsibility for safety and discipline in work area and report accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures;
  • Control HCM modules and ensure timeline is strictly adhered to and work with HO and Taskforce to produce a strategy to overcome issues/risks in a timely manner.
  • Hold and maintain professional/academic qualifications or appropriate expertise;
  • Allocate and manage designated resources to achieve identified elements of the functional plan;
  • Establish a cadence with all key parties (HO, Program Mgr., IP Team, Taskforce and other key stakeholders and foster 2-way communication of updates and inputs
  • Monitor, analyse and report on Stream progress/performance

 

Your Key Skills:

  • Minimum requirement a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or an equivalent Business Mgmt. Degree or an equivalent level IT qualification and well versed with Project Mgmt. Methodology and models (PMP or other certifications preferred)
  • Proven Subject matter Expert within the HCM ERP environment, especially experience of operating within and outsourced or commercialized environment
  • Successfully managed large projects across Europe and understands GDPR, Works Council, Local Tax, employment law and other rules in Europe and UK region.
  • Proven experience of developing business relationships and dealing successfully with strategic stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Demonstrable experience of managing within a complex matrix environment across countries and regions.
  • End to End Europe based projects Implementation experience with full understanding of country specific needs is preferred
  • Oracle OUM methodology experience is preferred
  • Oracle business accelerators knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to motivate team and develop commitment encouraging a performance culture;
  • Encourages and seeks opportunities (for himself/herself and others) to improve, innovate and implement changes to support the business;
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills, due to close contact with senior management and European business units;
  • Communicates effectively with other people to get the job done;
  • Solid persuasion and commercial negotiation skills with the ability to maintain strategic relationships;
  • Ability to collate and disseminate facts ensuring that the audience understands information being presented supported by high presentation proficiency to present the project in a variety of forums to different levels of business;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills;
