Commercial Marketing Manager

DP World is currently seeking a highly skilled Commercial Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for spearheading marketing strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and enhance our market presence. JOB PURPOSE

  • Develops innovative and customer-centered marketing strategies for the customer approach together with the commercial team. 
  • Acts as the interface between Commercial and Marketing and supports Commercial in communicating adequately with the customer in a target group-oriented manner.
  • Conceives digital sales marketing campaigns across the different channels (online and offline).
  • Ensures digital and customer-centric omni-channel marketing.
  • Forms the know-how and content hub of the Commercial Team and works closely with the relevant interfaces in Commercial Marketing, but especially with Comms / HQ.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develops sales-oriented, primarily digital marketing campaigns.
  • Supports sales in the creation of RFQs, presentations or innovative visualisations for direct customer contact.
  • Develops a lead management and nurturing strategy and implements, tracks and develops it further.
  • Creates innovative ways of addressing and communicating with customers such as 360 degree videos, 3D visualisations for specific sales projects / (potential) customers.
  • Implementation of a marketing automation tool (together with Sales Operations).
  • Development of a distribution-oriented social media strategy for Commercial Europe, especially for LinkedIn and the Sales Navigator.
  • Implementation of direct marketing approaches for the different target groups.
  • Development and roll-out of a presentation toolkit for the commercial department.
  • Supports the Marketing Manager Events in the creation of ideas, the development of topics and the organisation of events as the first contact person for the Commercial department. 
  • Is a service provider for the Commercial department for a target group-oriented customer approach and checks measures and actions for customer-centricity and target group relevance.
  • Works closely with the Sales Operations team to ensure a smooth lead transition.
  • Acts as content hub responsible for topic collection and communication within relevant areas such as Comms and HQ.
  • Lead proactive analysis of industry and customer behaviour trends to build successful strategies.
  • Actively monitor and report on key insights for future strategies and campaign development.

 

OTHER 
Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.

 

JOB CONTEXT

  • Commercial Marketing plays an essential role both in the area of awareness in order to reach the relevant target groups. And it also acts as an enabler for Commercial in order to make a decisive contribution to the company's success. 
  • Within this, the Marketing Manager ensures to actively support colleagues with appropriate strategies and measures, but also to develop and expand digital and innovative omnichannel customer contacts in the sense of customer centricity and thus to increase customer satisfaction.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience in marketing, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in the conception and implementation of successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Project management experience & Sales experience are a big plus.
  • Broad knowledge in digital marketing, especially lead management and marketing automation.
  • Experience in using content management systems and social media as well as customer relationship management is a plus
  • A sense for text and design, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

 

EXPERIENCE 

  • Higher educational level (degree business administration, marketing, communication)
  • Working experience (minimum 4 years)
  • Experience in an advertising agency or in the commercial sector useful
  • Industry experience is a plus.

  • Flexibility to travel - You are ready to travel up to 20%  of the time across the region and if necessary globe to our operations and customers.
  • IT skills - You are highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, especially Powerpoint. knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems and customer relationship manegement  is a plus
  • Languages - You speak and write fluent German and English
