Purchasing Specialist

We need you to improve our business as a Purchasing Specialist. This position in Juárez requires a candidate who is intelligent, adaptable and possesses specific skills that will enable them to acclimate with syncreon’s growing environment.

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Perform various administrative duties assigned to the Service Center for the North American Region including but not limited to: vendor set up, purchase order updates, parked invoice resolution and running of reports
  • Purchase indirect materials and services, capital equipment, packaging, MRO, and other categories of items as assigned, ensuring lowest total cost is achieved.
  • Obtain Quotes for goods and services from multiple suppliers, ensuring the best overall value
  • Create Purchase Requests for multiple locations as required
  • Provide coverage for other specialists when they are absent.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, or 1 to 3 years relative experience.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently to achieve business goals
  • Have high level of motivation
  • Critical Thinking – Ability to identify Inefficiencies, analyze them from multiple perspectives and develop strategies to address the root cause.
  • Experience within SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate as an agent on the company’s behalf, ensuring the company is represented in the best possible way.
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams that include internal and external customers, and suppliers.
  • Firm understanding of the Procure to Pay process, request for quotation (RFQ) process, as well as cost reduction and supply base rationalization. 
  • Able to complete strategic actions and initiatives in a timely manner while adhering to project budgets.
