Senior Procurement Manager Projects & Business Development

As Senior Procurement Manager Projects & Business Development you are in charge of leading our Procurement team in new customer bids and launches. You have real E2E responsibility from the moment a new customer bid arrives to the implementation of the project.  You’ll be fully involved in strategic business decisions and leading projects that are about making sure we bring new market innovations to the customer and develop the right solutions.


Together with your team you jointly define and align priorities in the different projects and RFQ’s. You will work in close collaboration with internal business partners to set these priorities, while making sure the safety, availability, reliability, quality, total cost of ownership, sustainability, and security in supplier and contractor deliveries are met.


But there is more, you will also:

  • Serve as primary liaison to (internal) customers and provide recommendations for improved processes
  • Establish excellent two-way communication with project team, ensuring it is a team effort
  • Provide direction and feedback to all team members and assist them in issue resolution. Developing team behaviors and empowering team members to plan and execute work. 
  • Develop new processes as necessary to ensure mission critical projects are completed; provide expertise in identifying appropriate methodologies for large-scale projects.
  • Leads or participates in business process redesign teams.


What we ask of you

You are hard-working and like to lead change in a highly dynamic, steadily growing business environment.


  • Bachelor Degree or Masters in Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement or Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in a related field of business e.g. logistics or manufacturing.
  • You take with you extensive experience in Project Management and Supplier Management.
  • you speak Dutch and English both fluently.
  • Analytical, fact based, makes solid business cases.
  • A strong ability to structure, organize several activities and initiatives.
  • In this role you will be able to travel 20% of your time.
