Maintenance Technician (NE)

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to provide general repairs and maintenance services to our facilities and office locations across the Midlands. This role will focus on the provision of both a reactive and preventative maintenance service to ensure our locations and office spaces are safe, clean and well maintained. You will be required to drive to easily access our sites and as such a current driving licence would be essential. About the role:

• Responsible for the provision of general maintenance, basic repairs to our sites and office locations across the Midlands 
• Basic installations of products and equipment
• Basic painting and decorating
• Small carpentry jobs and repairs
• Conduct assessments and identify problems
• Escort and induct external contractors to site
• Carry out PAT testing
• Assist in the repair and resolution of plumbing systems (toilets/sinks etc)
• Carry out racking inspections to SEMA standards
• Carry out PPM checks to site infrastructure

Your Key Skills/Experience:

• Experience performing facility and equipment related maintenance in a large facility.
• Strong general repairs background (trades background preferred) including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating
• Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment
• ESSENTIAL driving licence
