HR Administrator

Are you looking for an opportunity to broaden your HR skill set and provide professional support to the People function including coordinating and improving HR administrative systems, processes and associated documentation? We are looking for a passionate and driven HR Administrator to join our experienced HR team supporting with a variety of high volume administrative tasks. You will work in an incredibly fast paced environment so team work and prioritisation of work is key. This role will cover multiple sites so travel to and working from our sites in Coventry, Hinckley and Lutterworth will be required.  

 

About the Role:

How you will contribute:

  • Ensure that new starters, changes and leavers processes are followed up diligently and that all aspects of the processes are adhered to, working closely with the Payroll and Finance Departments. 
  • Assist line managers with the new starter induction process and liaise with the QEHS department to coordinate group inductions when required.
  • Provide support to the HR Team with advice to site management and employees
  • To ensure all HR processes are implemented and completed in full compliance with Company policy and legislative requirements. 
  • Maintain accurate absence data on absence reporting KPI and return to work trackers, ensuring that all return to work interviews are completed by line managers. Support the HR team with managing absence in line with the Company’s Absence Policy and Procedure.
  • Scanning and maintenance of personnel files in line with GDPR.
  • Support the HR team with basic contractual change administration, general coordination of meetings and minute taking in ER cases.
  • Support the HR team in arranging meetings in relation to sickness absence, including letter 
  • administration, diary management and minute taking.  Work with managers to ensure meetings take place.  Support the team in maintaining the data management of the sickness absence system.  Ensure that the system is up to date, accurate and run regular reports.
  • To perform other related duties as assigned to support the achievement of Company objectives.
  • Produce monthly reports providing employee information to our corporate headquarters.
  • Help produce site newsletters
  • Support site employee engagement and CSR activities

 

Your Key Skills: 

  • Previous HR administration experience is essential. 
  • Experience of HR databases and production of management information reports essential, with the ability to review and analyse data advantageous.
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • CIPD Level 3 advantageous.
  • Valid UK driving licence
