Facilities Manager

We are recruiting for a Facilities Manager at our Hinckley and/or Lutterworth facility, reporting to the UK Engineering Manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our sites in Hinckley and Lutterworth are legally and regulatory compliant in all aspects of facilities management.


About the Role


You will be responsible for

  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues regarding Health & Safety as they arise, to ensure the Company does not breach any regulations and safeguard employees so they are working in a suitable and safe environment.
  • Identify and collate requests for works on site and subsequently manage the implementation and completion of works to the highest standard and following up on any deficiencies. 
  • Controlling and coordinating the work of the maintenance team on a weekly basis.
  • Advise on scheduling major repairs and preventative maintenance and maintain performance through KPI’s and SLA’s.  Calculation and comparison of costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
  • Ensuring any work required is carried out effectively and is undertaken with the correct permits to work and associated documentation is to the required standard.
  • Management and monitoring of all Hard and Soft services and external contracts relating to UK Technology facilities. 


Key Accountabilities

  • To ensure all facilities are fully operational and that the facilities are not compromised taking prompt action when required.
  • Ensure any statutory and local obligations are met i.e. Lease, Health & Safety.
  • Any works carried out on-site fall in-line with Company’s Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.


Knowledge Required

  • Proven knowledge in a facility management role.
  • Effective management skills and the ability to motivate and drive staff to the highest possible standards.
  • Strong administration skills, organized and thorough with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and related topics.
