Customs Specialist (m/w/d)

Key Accountabilities


  • Independent preparation of electronic import and/or export declarations via ATLAS, practical experience required
  • Observance of export control regulations (e.g. embargoes/dual-use/compliance)
  • Preparation of the necessary documents for shipping and customs clearance in compliance with legal requirements (EUR.1; ATR; T2L)
  • Independent classification of new products into the customs tariff
  • Correspondence with customs authorities
  • General commercial activities and invoicing to our customers.
  • Contact person for internal and external customers in customs related inquiries 



  • Commercial training, preferably as a forwarding agent or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in customs clearance or as a customs declarant
  • Confident application of the customs tariff (TARIC, EZT)
  • Good knowledge of the Customs Code, ZK-DVO, UZK and the most important foreign trade regulations 
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Good office skills and experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP and ATLAS software
  • Your profile is rounded off by an engaging and confident manner
