Senior Project Manager

We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager, located in Fairburn, GA. Within this growing team, you will serve as primary liaison to stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering every project on time within budget and scope.


About the Role

  • Responsible for leading teams to deliver projects that span across one or more business units, including management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery;
  • Serve as primary liaison to business customers and provide recommendations for improved system processes;
  • Develop deliverables related to project initiation including feasibility studies, risk assessment, project initiation reports, staffing, project organization outline, and standards and control procedures;
  • Develop good working relationships with the local customer plant and project leaders; monitor project progress, deliverables, quality assurance, and customer service via use of syncreon Project Management Tools;
  • Report status to customer and identify and resolve risks that impact project completion; manage time and budget for the customer; initiate action to identify and resolve problems and ensure goals are met;
  • Coordinate planning, development, testing, documentation, and installation of project to ensure timely deliverables, project success and quality;
  • Adjust resources to ensure project success and completion; provide work direction and feedback to all team members and assist them in issue resolution;
  • Provide guidance to team members on administrative and technical problems;
  • Assist in staffing activities related to project; develop new processes as necessary to ensure mission critical systems are completed;
  • Provide expertise in identifying appropriate methodologies for large-scale projects; lead or participates in business process redesign teams; prepare and deliver formal presentations to colleagues and management; share best practices for account management staff development and technical expertise;
  • Develop, maintain & follow a detailed Launch Plan based on syncreon Launch Process Template;
  • Ensure any external suppliers of equipment or services for syncreon are sourced appropriately to ensure they are capable of meeting project timing and of providing a high class service;
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings as required to ensure that all aspects of the project are dealt with professionally and efficiently;
  • Develop syncreon Project Evidence Binder, in line with clearly documented syncreon expectations and QS Standards;
  • Utilize NPI, Q4 peak periods, automated/pick/pack/ship environment, forward logistics, customer SLA’s, lean tools/methodologies, 5S, supply chain operations, P&L reports and personnel development techniques to perform duties; and manage the Project Budgets (Resources & CAPEX).

Salary: $151,520 per year

Education: Bachelors - Business Management, Operations Management, Management, Construction Management and Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).


Training: None


Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Business Unit Manager, as an IT Solutions Analyst, or in a related occupation.

Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years use of all the following: NPI, Q4 peak periods, automated/pick/pack/ship environment, forward logistics, customer SLA’s, lean tools/methodologies, 5S, supply chain operations, P&L reports and personnel development techniques.


Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
