Transport Tender Manager / RFX Project Manager

Take this amazing opportunity to join our German Tender Management team as Tender Manager / RFX Project Manager (f/m/d) and prepare competitive, high quality proposals in response to forwarding RFQs/RFIs/RFPs mainly received from Global Key Accounts closely cooperating with other Tender Management Teams, Bid Owner, and Product as well as support functions.

This role is located in Duisburg, Germany.

How you will contribute

• Handling of RFX’s received for the road packed business in terms of pricing and solution design; the entire process from RFX received to post tender review will be lead
• Connect to Operations and clarify possibilities, demands and needs
• Align with Operations and other stakeholders on specific RFQ’s
• Document RFX handling, feedback and the final outcome
• Prepare a data base of information for discussion with Operations & the Management
• Collect information about demands and market changes out of the RFX material
• Provide input for the CRM and make sure that information are shared
• Take over the role as opportunity owner in case no sales lead is available

What you will bring

• Bachelor degree in business administration / engineering / logistics or similar or education as a forwarding merchant with minimum 5 years’ experience
• You speak and write fluent German and English – additional languages are a bonus
• Experience in the logistics and transportation industry
• Experience in commercial activity for road transportation
• Detailed understanding of the European Road Transport market
• You have strong communication skills
• Results oriented mindset
• You are ready to travel between app. 20% of the time within Europe to visit DP World sites or participate on customer meetings
