Talent Acquisition Cluster Lead | Germany & Switzerland

The Talent Acquisition Cluster Lead for Germany & Switzerland is a tactical and operational recruitment business partner for the Cluster (HR and Business Leaders). Are you able to drive and coordinate the Talent Acquisition hiring needs and selection process to support and enable the business to recruit the right people in order to achieve current and future business plans? Do you have experience in managing the full cycle recruitment process? Then you are the person we're looking for. 


You will lead the operational Talent Acquisition (TA) activities and coordination of hiring needs for the Cluster Germany and Switzerland. You are able to build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, critical stakeholders and partners, while operating as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert. You will report directly into the Head of the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE). 


Your tasks & responsibilities are: 


  • Provide recruitment advice from the initial requisition through the entire recruiting & hiring process. This includes active recruiting, sourcing, screening, skills and abilities testing, pre-employment checks, compliance, offer development and delivery.
  • Proactively source applicants and be an ambassador for our DP World brand to potential candidates. 
  • Benchmark and screen external candidates and develop high-quality candidate shortlists for the Hiring Managers to review.
  • Collaborate internally with HR colleagues to ensure the internal candidate source is promoted and talent mapping is created and embedded.
  • Create and deliver an extraordinary candidate and new hire experience.
  • Negotiate salaries, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates.
  • Provide regular market information using intelligence from both internal and external sources in order to be a true market expert.
  • Take responsibility for the results of customer satisfaction within function, department or business unit, putting agreed action plans in place where necessary.
  • Support the roll out of Talent Acquisition programs & projects for the CoE Europe; this includes ATS implementation/enhancements, employer branding and social media campaigns, diversity & inclusion programs, hiring manager training, interview upskilling programs and supplier management.
  • Drive social media recruitment strategy and sourcing of passive talent.

Your key qualifications are:    


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English and German language. 
  • Experience coordinating the end-to-end recruitment cycle and experience in leading a team of corporate recruiters.
  • Extensive International recruitment experience in Germany & Switzerland, with a track record of success in a high volume, fast paced corporate environment. Ability to manage multiple assignments and stakeholders across all levels simultaneously.
  • The ability to deal with high vacancy numbers without compromising candidate quality or an effective and timely service to the business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality.
  • Strong delivery focus with ability to take full responsibility for campaign recruitment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge and understanding of an applicant tracking system (ATS), recruitment best practices, employment law and legislation in countries of operation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an affinity with Technology and Automotive recruitment. Someone to give voice to our employer brand, build direct hiring capability, champion the candidate experience and take accountability for the performance of our efforts.
