HR Manager (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and play a crucial role in our upcoming plant launch and project. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for building and implementing HR processes and global guidelines, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, fostering positive employee relations, and acting as a strategic partner to the operatives involved in the launch and project. This role can be based in Duisburg, Leipzig or Emden where we have an existing location. 


Your Tasks:

  • Provide HR expertise and coordinate HR launch process as applied to new business launches in cooperation with lauch and the local HR team.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and collaborate with external staffing agencies as well as procurement to hire temporary staff.
  • Develop and implement standardized HR processes, policies, and procedures that align with company guidelines and best practices, ensuring consistency across the new business.
  • Act as a trainer in the onboarding process for new HR hires, providing training on standard HR policies, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, handling labor and employee relations matters effectively.
  • Work closely with the payroll team to manage local pay processes, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration.
  • Collaborate with the HR Operations leader to ensure that shared services are implemented in a country or cluster and centralize records & transactional activities.
  • Ensure the DP World culture is effectively rolled out on-site and promote an internal appreciation for the strategic HR value in achieving business objectives.
  • Take responsibility for delivering HR metrics and reports for the assigned country or cluster.
  • Handle additional HR-related tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the launch and project.



Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR management or a combination of relevant work experience and training HR Management will be considered. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in various HR disciplines; recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance.
  • Profound knowledge of German labor law, regulations, and employment practices to ensure compliance in all HR activities.
  • Experience working with HR processes, data and systems and ability to analyze HR data & metrics.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and experience applying them in a practical and stragetic manner. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willigness and ability to travel within Germany for business purposes.
