HR Information Systems Specialist

Are you passionate about HR information systems (HRIS) and do you have experience in working in HRIS implementation and/or change projects? In this exciting position, you will be responsibile for collecting and analyzing data to improve global HR strategies and processes. Furthermore, you will contribute to the functional productivity and workflow of the global HR teams by suggesting ways to increase productivity and initiate process improvements. This position is reporting into the Global HR Director and will be remotely based in Germany or the Netherlands.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, testing and supporting the implementation of a new HRIS implementation. Collaborating with functional and technical teams to coordinate the implentation of the application as well as documenting processes and results;
  • Acting as a subject matter expert: providing HRIS support to the global HR team, recommending process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions and policy changes;
  • Writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing Microsoft Excel and appropriate reporting tools;
  • Maintain data integrity by running queries and analyzing data and reports;
  • Developing user procedures/instructions, guidelines and further documentation;
  • Training users on new processes and/or functionalities. 

 

Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or other related field is required;
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of HRIS Specialist experience or similar position is required, experience with Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors or Workday is strongly preferred;
  • Project management and systems implementation experience preferred;
  • Good understanding of (global) HR processes and database design;
  • Experience in facilitating training/education of colleagues and other employees/stakeholders is a big plus;
  • Excellent communication skills and professional working proficiency in English (oral and written) is required. Proficiency in German or other European language is a plus.

 

Additional Information

This position will be remotely based in Germany or the Netherlands, occassional travel to syncreon sites (in the EMEA region) will occur.
