Employee Development Manager - Senior

The Manager of Talent and Development is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for driving the design, implementation, and execution of talent management and development initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, and nurturing top talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

 

About the Role

  • Understand the difference and demonstrate the ability to (a) train and (b) facilitate workshops.
  • Become certified and an expert in Accountability Training (AT) and Accountability For Leaders (AFL).
  • Maintain Internal (iTalent) training records for all employees .
  • Provide/present/facilitate AT, AFL onsite workshops as requested. Manage scheduling of same.
  • Consult/Coach all levels on AT, AFL, and principles/effects/results of Accountability including Key Results, to See It, Own It, Solve It, Do It.
  • Understand and help manage details of the Accountability Journey, helping local and other leadership to clearly see the way forward, either as showcase units or not.
  • Understand and be prepared to present the Management Development Course onsite or online.
  • Become proficient in The Hub and ARO training workshops and recording of same. Manage announcements for and calendar for these events with US/MX CL operations.
  • Be prepared to administer and coach FTE’s on various assessments, ipsative and normative, providing insights and conclusive perspectives for subjects and, where asked and appropriate, to management.
  • Understand and be prepared to contribute to all HR Function and  talent development initiatives.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or 4 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferable experience in training and employee development within similar industry (Warehousing/ Distribution/Manufacturing)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. The ability to write speeches and articles for publication conforms to prescribed style and format.
