Senior Finance Manager

We are looking for a proactive and organized Senior Finance Manager at our Auburn Hills location. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong FP&A background, the ability to work closely with various functions across the organization, and has experience managing people

About the Role

 

How you will contribute

  • Oversee region as the finance lead managing the Business Controllers team.
  • Review monthly results and implement standardized monthly financial management reporting including variance analysis and analysis on growth activity in addition to managing the cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the segment and region in consultation with the Corporate Finance team.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (both US and local GAAP).
  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the regional segment management, Corporate Controller, legal & procurement team.
  • Ensure segment plans are in compliance with corporate policies and strategies and develop, implement or recommend policies and procedures for the finance function.
  • Drive process and system improvements across the finance organization, including design and implementation of key controls over financial reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Experience in a management function within the accounting & finance field.
  • Demonstrated success in helping build an integrated finance function with nationwide or global reach in addition to being comfortable operating at both ends of spectrum: “rolling sleeves up” and leading.
  • Excels at interacting with business leaders internally and externally while being able to translate financial results to all audiences and gain cooperation through discussion, influence and persuasion.
