Lean Deployment Manager

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Mentor and coach team members who are executing Kaizen Events
  • Coordination of Kaizen Events for the region including monitoring of any cost savings
  • Standardization of operational processes within the region – ensuring similar monitoring and effectiveness measurements for all processes, standardization of work instructions/processes and introduction of VSM into existing processes.
  • Liaison with the engineering department on TPM, OEE & SMED ensuring these standards are implemented where practical in all new projects/processes.
  • Mentor and Coach team members with responsibility for BPD, and operational performance or team boards to ensure compliance with global standards.
  • Engage all functions to meet the requirements of the GSA audits ensuring successful audits in the region. Monitor status & action tracker for all departments on GSA.
  • Train site team members on the requirements and standards required for GSA success.
  • Coordination of visual management for the region ensuring global standards are maintained and in compliance with company standards.
  • Full interaction with the quality teams to integrate the operational excellence requirements with the established integrated management system
  • Liaison with the engineering group with lean tool implementation for new projects
  • Coaching operational teams on operational excellence/lean tools usage.
  • Design, develop and validate balanced scorecards and dashboards for the organization and customers and make recommendations on improvements.
  • Ensure the delivery of project benefits through the correct cost tracking mechanisms and continually review by following the BPI governance process.

Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering or related field.
  • Training skills- train the trainer.
  • 5-10 years of experience, record of accomplishment of delivering the Lean Trainings, business improvement projects at Lean Level, leading and deploying engineering and projects in logistics, supply chain and/or 3PL industry.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in Manufacturing/Logistics environment.
  • Experience utilizing process improvement and root-cause analysis tools.
  • Proven record of implementing cost savings projects and directly contributing to financial performance.
  • Experience in Project Management and utilizing Lean tools in the successful delivery of cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to travel 50 - 75% of the working week with a high level of flexibility
  • MOST/MTM certification is a plus.
  • Lean tools certified/qualified is preferred.
