Compensation Project Manager

SYNCREON'S Compensation function is looking for an expereinced and dynamic compensation professional to join this global team as a crucial memeber providing global compensation service to our corporate field field-based functions within a broad array of compensation areas such as job evaluation, merit review, HRIS implementation and market analysis among other areas. 

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Work with the HR management team and executive team to support and influence the company’s reward strategy.
  • Conduct market analysis; participate in market surveys; analyze data from survey sources to determine competitiveness both internally and externally; research industry trends.
  • Maintain and adjust salary structures to ensure competitiveness in accordance with company strategy.
  • Conduct job evaluation and pricing utilizing salary surveys or slotting; classify job descriptions for all current and open positions, working in conjunction with hiring managers to define duties and responsibilities while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain database of all job descriptions; create job descriptions as needed; ensure accuracy of employee compensation information within databases.
  • Lead annual merit process for North America, working in conjunction with HRBPs and executive team to carry out annual merit planning and award cycle.
  • Support administration of executive compensation programs (short-term bonus programs and long-term equity programs).
  • Conduct in-depth local market analysis to support new business sales efforts.
  • Assist with management and employee communications regarding compensation.
  • Create models and financial projections illustrating the impact of compensation programs and alternatives.
  • Conduct compensation practice compliance reviews; support audits and regulatory filings as needed.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes that may affect hiring, earnings and benefits, and customer contracts, such as adjustments to minimum or living wage.
  • Evaluate payment change requests from department heads and provide final approval or denial within standard time frames.

 

Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus additional courses or seminars related to compensation practice and administration. Experience in compensation role may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • CCP certification preferred.
  • 10+ years’ compensation experience, including global experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in the following areas; base pay administration, incentive compensation (bonus and equity programs), sales compensation, HRIS.
  • Strong working knowledge of FLSA compliance guidelines.
  • Strong technology aptitude; experience with HR information and payroll systems; experience with SAP/Success Factors and systems implementations a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support all levels of the organization; ability to interact with individuals internal and external to the organization in an effective, courteous, and productive manner; ability to act as consultant to field HR business partners and line managers.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent grammar skills in order to communicate with our global internal customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce error-free correspondence and work product.
  • Excellent organizational skills, to include the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects and meet established or anticipated deadlines.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of expertise in Excel; ability to manage and analyze large data sets using Excel tools (e.g. pivot tables, macros, lookup function, mail merge, regression analysis).
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently in the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
