BPI Manager

Are you our next Business Process Improvements (BPI) Manager? This person will be responsible for achieving cost-saving targets, meeting project deadlines sites, and proactively manage customer and stakeholder expectations by following the BPI governance process in the North America region. Join our expanding team today! 


About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Manage the BPI program & associated objectives for relevant sites & operations. This will include: benefits tracking, ensuring the BPI teams are focused on projects of greatest opportunity, helping initiate projects to manage increased business volumes, and streamlining current processes in order to gain maximum efficiency while ensuring high productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Coach and mentor Green Belts in the application of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques for the successful delivery of BPI projects across the region. Ensure the effective use of tools and conformance to Lean / Six Sigma project processes amongst the BPI trained community, including the development of appropriate metrics to ensure improvement sustainability.
  • Build relationships with Project Champions within the region. Work with the Champions to identify potential new BPI projects to contribute towards the profitability of the site and BPI annual savings target.
  • Work with all functions [IT, Engineering, Operations etc.] to develop and manage the improvement project pipeline & associated priorities. Ensure appropriate resourcing for agreed priority projects.
  • Manage the activities of dedicated site based BPI Project Managers and assigned Green Belt team members.
  • Lead larger strategic /customer initiative projects directly if required.
  • Conduct phase gate reviews with team to ensure conformance of BPI projects. Manage the measurement of financial benefit delivery to ensure BPI projects contribute to the overall financial targets for the organization’s BPI program.
  • Provide thought leadership in the development of new tools and techniques for Lean Six Sigma application.
  • Drive the effective use of project tracking to capture, measure and monitor status, benefits and issues of BPI projects. Develop appropriate reports within appropriate systems.
  • Other duties as assigned


Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Technology or Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the successful delivery of cross-functional projects as a Certified Lean Sigma Black Belt with a proven track record in the delivery of savings preferably in Supply Chain.
  • Experience utilizing process improvement and root-cause analysis tools.
  • Have a proven ability to work in a cross functional environment and in both hierarchical and matrix style organizations to engage personnel from differing business units and backgrounds to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Able to take initiative and work with little to no supervision while operating in a highly fluid and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the working week.
