Operations Account Manager

Are you an Operational Account Manager who has experience with contract logistics offerings in High Tech or Technology Hardware? About the Role


How You Will Contribute:

  • Serve as the front-line point of contact representing syncreon in daily account management & commercial matters
  • Build and grow trusted customer relationships at all levels through shared goals, exceptional performance, open and direct communications, problem solving and collaboration.
  • Understand the customer's business (strategically, operationally, financially) and buying process.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the logistics issues and challenges experienced by companies in the technology market.
  • Cultivate new opportunities with customers to diversify and expand our core business.
  • Qualify and quantify potential growth opportunities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of current and future opportunities, quantifying number of opportunities, value of the opportunity and managing the probability to win.
  • Take ownership for bids/quotes and ensure all internal stakeholders in the company are aligned on any such bids and that responses are professionally administered and in line with our internal financial rules.
  • Track, report, and coordinate pricing of scope changes.
  • Conduct regular analysis of pricing, cost and profitability through the pricing file for the requisite customer sites in the region.
  • Must also be very skilled with analyzing data and spreadsheets as pricing updates require a detailed analysis and an extensive comparative exercise to ensure consistency.
  • Once approved, communicate changes to the appropriate team and ensures timely implementation of the new pricing and any new scope.
  • Work with the legal teams to support and lead the contracting process
  • Forecast and track key account metrics and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly/yearly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Support preparation of presentations for weekly and monthly business reviews and present commercial topics during reviews.
  • Monitor important contractual KPIs and reports on regular basis.
  • Support preparation of customer MBR/QBR/SBRs as required.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within our organization, understanding customer behavior/needs and communicating them internally.


Your Key Qualifications:

  • University BS/BA degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics and manufacturing services, especially in the technology sector.
  • A good understanding of production and logistics processes and their costs.
  • Strong financial/data analysis and expert with Excel.
  • Highly customer focused - ability to empathize and understand customer’s viewpoint and act as their champion within syncreon.
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual/presentation communication skills
  • Strong work ethic & motivation, with the desire to grow with the organization and make a difference.
  • Willingness to travel.
