As Quality Manager, you are responsible for reaching customer quality requirements and ensuring that the quality team skill sets evolve in line with customer expectations.
Moreover, you do support internal departments on continuous improvement processes. In this role, you report directly into the Site Director.
 

How you will contribute

  • Manages and analyzes data from customer and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel. 
  • Directly supervises Quality auditors and on-site Trainers across all shifts and provides consistent direction of the company’s quality & trainings plans.
  • Administer all projects and documentation relative to assigned processes (i.e. operator instructions, PFMEA’s and process control plans).
  • Analyze processes/ audit process execution and lead/ participate in process improvement definition, documentation and implementation.
  • Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems.  Use established problem solving techniques to reduce process variation.
  • Actively define, measure, manage and report on quality processes and reports.  Actively coach the organization in maintaining the required standards and issue resolution.
  • Quality System Management Rep. Responsible for the development, Implementation and monitoring of the Quality System.
  • Process Control – provide input on document enhancement and retention; Maintain ISO documentation and controls, administer activities required to maintain ISO certification, and actively coach the organization for maintaining ISO system.

 

Your Key Qualifications

  • Minimal Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics or business administration
  • 5 years of work progressive experience performing professional level quality management duties; preferably in manufacturing or logistics industry – experience with logistics automation is an advantage
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures used in logistics operations and practices including WMSs – JDA/ Red Prairie experience is an advantage.
  • Extensive/ advanced computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office, and online collaboration tools is required.
  • Extensive knowledge and/or training in Core Tools (APQP, FMEA)
  • Excellent (university level) communication skills in English (oral & written) in required; Dutch is an advantage.
  • Knowledge/ experience/ familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is required.  AFS and IATA DG is an advantage (training can be provided)
  • Data driven mindset is required, a minimum experience of 1-3 years in SPC.
  • Knowledge/ experience in an ESD Controlled Environment is an advantage
